Stichting 't Konings Loo is a foundation that supports the interests of Paleis Het Loo. This may be in the form of voluntary work or through fundraising to add to the collections. The volunteers provide guided tours of the palace and garden, help visitors in the museum shop and assist in maintaining the garden. For this work your contribution as donor is of the utmost importance. As a donor you are entitled to free admission to the palace and gardens and all exhibitions.

The House of Orange-Nassau Historic Collections Trust is housed in the Royal Archives in The Hague. Many items from the Trust’s collection and from the other Royal Collections are on permanent loan and on view at Paleis Het Loo National Museum. The Royal Archives manages these collections and provides Paleis Het Loo with advice and help in preparing exhibitions and publications. The Royal Archives comes under the management of the Royal Household and also includes the personal records, photographic archive, library and art collection of the royal family. The Orange-Nassau Historical Society was founded in 1923 for the purpose of gathering together a collection of art objects and historic documents connected with the House of Orange-Nassau. Paintings, prints, drawings, watercolours and miniatures are part of this unique collection alongside coins, medals, letters, porcelain, earthenware, costumes and curiosa. The Orange-Nassau Museum was opened in 1926 in The Hague and moved from there to the Stedelijk Museum Het Prinsenhof in Delft in 1960. Since 1977 the collection has been on permanent loan to Paleis Het Loo National Museum, where it forms a substantial part of the permanent collection. The Historical Society publishes a yearbook with contributions relating to its collections and annually organises lectures and excursions. The Society currently has around 500 members. The Stichting Paleisconcerten organises monthly concerts on Saturday evenings in the Ballroom as well as other musical activities in and around the palace.

The Stichting Collectiefonds Paleis Het Loo is a fund that is managed by the management of the museum and whose resources can be used for adding to the collections and restoring the items in the museum and for research into and publications on the museum’s collections.
